Start from PS/2 not working

So I've been using my (custom) system for while now, and I always started my system using the feature that allowed me to start my system using PS/2,

Once in a few weeks it works once, but it usually doesn't work at all, requiring me to jump the power button with a  screwdriver..

Here is a video of me demonstrating the problem (sorry about me not being able to find the thingy in the bios, it has been forever since I was there xd)

Here is a quick overview of the specs on my system (that I think should be relevant)

- Asrock Z97 Anniversary (the normal ATX version, not the M version)

- I7 4790K

???????????

Things I've done to hopefully solve the problem:

- Check connections (those are fine)

- Make sure my Keyboard is plugged into the adapter.

- Update the firmware

- ???

Any other people with this problem, or potentially a solution.

Please let me know!

if so the first thing that comes to mind is power, like does your pc cut off usb power when it turns off, because if so you might be screwed, the only way around that i can think of would be if you hibernated it, so that it still has power to the keyboard rather than total shut down. maybe having a look into your power options etc might tell you something that helps

wait so are you saying that you want to be able to power on the computer by typing on the keyboard?

I actually did it like that for almost a year, I showed in the video I included at 1:40 that this actually is a feature, and I used that.

Power remains

But this is not using USB, this is using PS/2

I want it to be able to start my computer completely as I like to take off the power at night.

Thanks, I'll get in touch with Asrock I guess ;p

As I really don't understand the problem either (as even flashing the firmware didn't help)
