Bios primary display PCI-E PEG or IGFX

Guest
Go to solution Solved by typographie,

I'm not sure what the difference is between the PCIE and PEG options… PEG is "PCI Express Graphics" so it seems redundant, and either would probably work. I agree PCIE is the safer bet though.

I have a Z170-A as well, and I think I set mine to PCIE.

Okay so i sent my gpu in for an rma and just got it back i have been using integrated graphics in the meantime and now i want to disable integrated graphics in the bios can you tell me the difference between the primary display settings. The options are in the title and i think its PCI-E right because thats where my gpu is installed? I have a 1060 6gb ftw+ on a z170a mobo asus.
