Why the frack is dsub vga still a thing? DVI replaced it in 1999, and DVI is obsolete now replaced by DisplayPort. It's like putting a floppydrive in a PC today. Makes no sense.

its still one of the most available display ports out there for monitors, maybe not for high end stuff but in general it is. they have the support for it anyways, so why not add the connector anyways? its not like you need the space.

Exactly, so why don't these motherboards have floppy parallel connectors onboard? Unacceptable. But no, VGA was replaced 17 years ago. If your monitor whatever is that old, you might wanna replace it. All monitors have additional inputs, like dvi or hdmi.

your comparison doesn't make sense, floppymedia is not actually being used anymore. VGA is still completely usable, floppy is not.

VGA is not usable. Low resolution, analog signal, jitter, low refreshrate, etc. No one should use it anymore. Literally every single other pc video connection is better. Including Dsub still, just keeps this obsolete poc on the market even longer.

What's the 27 stands for btw

I think but I do not claim that this is the supreme answer but i5-7600K(i5-6(+1)600K) + i7-7700K(i7-6(+1)700K) & Z270(Z1(+1)70), maybe?

Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.

vga can handle a lot of resolutions without looking smudged most people don't need high refresh rate monitors. the problem most people experience is shit analog to digital converters on their modern screens. but for old screens it still looks good enough, and is inexpensive. i have a 720p tv over hdmi and a slightly higher resolution old TN panel running at 60hz via vga and i prefer that slightly higher resolution vga screen over the 720p tv, it looks way more crisp. vga actually has a higher bandwidth than DVI has. vga can go up to 2048x1536px @85 Hz if your monitor supports a high bandwidth troughput over its DAC

VGA can do 2048×1536 @ 85hz. Jitter isn't an issue if one buys half way decent components either, and an analog signal isn't an issue unless it's in a high noise environment. Even then, it's not an issue with a shielded cable, which were dirt cheap when they were in high demand.

In fact, VGA is still used as a standard in the enterprise world because it still does better than required, and it costs $0.00 to continue using it, vs an unnecessary upgrade to a newer technology, for no benefit whatsoever.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

You know, I'm pretty annoyed that it looks like Asrock will go from having by far the best looking lineup of Skylake mobos to having the ugliest shit lineup of Kabylake.

Seriously Asrock... If you would have just stuck with your previous work, instead of copying the awful insane huge ioshield from Asus then we'd all be better for it.

Please tell me we are going to see a black/white Z270 ITX board to replace the red/black fatality lineup. I'd actually buy a Z270 board for that alone.

I really hate the fad of putting big designs onto the PCB like that.

MSI DDR4 boost was gaudy enough, now a Giant K and a gear?

Ugh
