OMG I FIXED IT. Here is what I did.

1) Take SSD

2) Wipe it clean

Lag free LOL

I have a Neatgear AC1900, I use a 5.8ghz USB for wifi. My games are getting network interruptions all the time.

Consumer grade Wifi is generally unstable. And "network interruptions" isn't very clear. Is it just stuttery? Do you disconnect entirely? What games are you playing?

There is no such thing as a 'gaming router,' it is just a decent router. Check for interference in your area and change the router's band to an open one using Netgear Genie.

By network interruptions I mean the game (Call of Duty) will lag so that I move but no one else, then a few seconds later it goes back to normal and I might have died lol.

I could come in teamviewer or skype and help you setup that asus router, because I am a pretty good expert for ASUS routers and the Netgear ORBI Systems, but I would try the adapter first, and make sure to install proper drivers!

and I recommend buying this, https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Wireless-Adapter-Archer-T2U/dp/B00JBJ6VG8/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1482112602&sr=8-12&keywords=tp%2Blink%2Bwireless%2Badapter&th=1

I got yours, and it still lags in games. Although I tried moving my PC closer to the router and it went down, but it was still there.
