Gigabyte Hd 7970 ghz vs gigabyte Gtx 770 4gb

So I found a Gtx 770 4gb and a hd 7970 ghz both from gigabyte and both the same price. I was wondering which one I should go for and also if I can fit it inside an rog g20. Thanks (I can't look up benchmarks because of new amd drivers that make the cards run better.

I can't find much info on your case, but I'd put my money on the green team this time

For seeing if it fits, use PC part picker. They'll automatically determine if it fits in your case or not. As for the GPUs, just look at the FPS that those cards put out from the games you like to play and go from there.

  • 3 weeks later...

I know that the r9 280x is basically an hd 7970ghz but I was wondering which was the better card. I think the gigabyte one has a higher clock speed but other than that I don't know much. Thank you

They're pretty much exactly equal so I'd just go with the cheapest of the two.

I would go R9 (if price is same)  as newer and holy shit blue
