What fails more HDDs or SSDs ?

Now it due to SSDs getting better in quality HDDs tend to fail more.

But theoretically HDD because of the whole moving parts thing.

HDD's. Purely because there's more of them, thus more will fail.

Larger capacity SSDs last longer because they have more cells to write in when they begin to fail. So, large SSDs last longer than HDDs, but HDDs still last longer than most small SSDs.

SSDs have a more predictable lifespan than HDDs and nowadays last longer too.

This is backwards logic... Lager capacity SSD's would die faster than a lower capacity one. Reason being they are typically TLC chips and for SSD's those have a very short life span since you write 3x as much data per cell the other 2 types of cells found in SSD's.
