Bottom fan on Fractal Define R4 to cool GPU?

nkucz

Hey guys,

I want to mount a 140mm fan on the bottom of my Fractal Define R4 in-between the HDD cages and power supply to cool my GTX 1070 Founders Edition. However, my concern is that it will not help at all because it will just intake hot air from the power supply. I read this somewhere and I'm wondering if this true?

Thanks

Shouldn't power supply exhausts out the back

Yea I thought the fan on a PSU was an intake that exhausted out the back as well.
