Is this case good? - NZXT s340

Enovi

I am wanting a good case which is noise-reducting and modern at the same time. I was wondering if the NZXT S340 was a good choice, I love the style and everythign about it, I can even go into the budget, but I know nothing in terms of knowing which case to get or simply the basics of cases.

Does anyone recommend it or have different cases in mind? I really would like the s340, but if it's not a good case then I won't get it.

It's a great budget case, I'm not sure how it is at noise reduction though.

Keep in mind, that will also largely depend on the other components you get. You can get a "silent" case, but if you have loud fans and a loud GPU, it'll still be loud.

I have quiet fans and a quiet GPU imo, I own a Sapphire Radeon RX480 8GB Nitro+ and it sounds good in my £60 7 year old case (it was £60 then). So yeah.

Its great. I'd recommend getting the blue or red matte versions and painting over the red or blue if you want a different color. The other colors are glossy.

Only complaint is that the side panel is extremely easy to scratch.

I haven't painted a case before (if I were to of course), do you think it would be easy turning the black into a white IF I got the matte blue version?

Is the razer version glossy or matte?

with spray paint? Yes. You may have to use a bit of masking tape, but it should be easy enough.

I highly recommend it. Pro tip: When you're building, don't peel off the wrap on the window until you're done building.

Trust me, I love plastic, but I always leave it last... Legit, so that's not a problem for me.

I got the red and black one and applied black carbon fiber to it. I also covered all the red with green carbon fiber vinyls. This was the result.

May I ask what GPU that is? Sorry for double posting but now I'm just wondering where I've seen it from.

As far as I know the cases noise is not that loud but the HDD cages are a bit noisy. You should buy some gums to put between the HDD's and the cage.

Those cost around 2 $ (8 pieces).

Probably true, but it can't be that bad because I cant hear over my PSU "whine".
