How much space is used for the hdd and what size is your ssd?

The HDD has 831gb and my SSD is 250gb.

Yes, used. It's a 1TB Western Digital Black.

There's your problem. The destination drive is too small for the source drive. 

For it to work, your ssd has to be 1tb or larger. Need to do a clean install on the ssd. And every single program, games, etc.

Absolutely correct I had this issue when I tried to clone from HDD to SSD. It's much better to start from scratch. That way MBR and everything else doesn't get confused. Fresh I stall won't take that long anyways.
