I chose kailh blues just because that is the only switch i have expierience with and have loved them so far. Got a full mechanical rgb keyboard for $60 about two months ago and have had no issues. Its the rosewill k85 btw

Interesting... Well i choosed red mx because thats actually what i am using, and it feels a lot better at least for gaming rather than membrane...

Could never get into Reds, they just don't feel good to me.

For me it depends on the situation:

I have Outemu blue for games, looking for a brown.

For work, however, I prefer membrane and its (lack of) sound. Also, I feel less tired thanks to the amortiguation at the bottom.

I have to try linear switches with o-rings, maybe i'll prefer them over membrane.

I like my "Other". Kailh Box Jades are so much more satisfying to type on than Cherry MX Blues. Nicer sound, more tactile, and the switch itself looks nicer.

I desoldered the MX Blues in my G710, and soldered them on. I have a topic about it somewhere. 

It's not that hard to solder, actually. And the G710 has no hidden screws under the rubber feet.

I'm someone who is garbage at soldering, accidentally destroyed a drone flight controller when I was building it due to literally burning the damn thing up. So I don't trust myself with that.

Oh. I was thinking "if even I can do it, anyone can". I used a super cheapo soldering iron, and the only experience I had, was once, when I was about 10.

Cherry MX SpeedSilvers are my favorite. I used to dislike mechanical keyboards until I came across them. My biggest issue for a long time was how much travel most switches feel like they have.
