ZyXEL router cannot connect to default gateway

Hi, I'm trying to connect to this ZyXEL router NBG-510S at default gateway (192.168.1.1) this is what it says under the router and also the default gateway in ipconfig. each time it redirects me to https://192.168.1.1/ and gives me " ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE " How can I fix this?
