'lag free' or 'without lag' are both impossible. All monitors (or TV's) have at least some lag on them.

Anyways, your best bet for the least amount of input lag is getting a monitor, instead of TV. Do you really sit so far away you need a 42" model?

And a 27" monitor wouldn't be good because..?

A 27" gaming monitor is meh for sitting on the couch to play games on. And no, TV's aren't that horrible if you aren't anal about numbers. I was able to play beatmania, which is notorious for being tight on timing, pretty well on my TV in game mode.

Well it's kind of hard for some of us to find stores that cater to India. So I'll at least part you with this: get something from Samsung or LG. If you can go into a physical store, play around with the TVs. Also make sure they have some sort of "game mode", this minimizes processing on the display to minimize input lag.

@M.Yurizaki what if i buy 28 inch surface studio , that will give me all-in-1 great desktop  and a screen to play ps4 games. but the question is can studio's display provide same as other 28 inch monitors in 1000 dollar range coz studio costs like $3500

You can't use the Studio's screen for another system, unless you were planning on using the PS4 streaming app.

@Minibois because i think while sitting on couch , 27 inch monitor might be smaller than a 32 inch tv

It's possible, but you need an HDMI capture card.

Using that solution, you'd be adding input latency due to the processing it takes for the PC to process the software needed to display the PS4's video feed. You'd also waste some screen space. The Studio has a 15:10 screen, and the PS4 outputs in 16:9.

You'd also have a similar issue with game streaming, except that there would be potential additional latency over the network (especially if you use wireless at any point between PC and PS4).

Fierce Bloody Angel

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!
