- The ROG gets DDR4 4133 (O.C)

- Strix gets up to DDR4 3800 (O.C), Z270G that MicroATX one, up to 4000 (O.C)

- TUF and Prime Z270-A at 3600 (O.C)

- All runs SLI and CFX at x8/x8. Last x16 slot is still limited to x4 even though Z270 has extra lanes

- Only 6 SATA ports

- AURA RGB Lighting

- Support Intel Optane

- On the back, you get your typical I/O like gigabit lan, usb 2/3/3.1/Type C, and PS/2 Combo. Wifi and BT on selected models.

e.g. Strix Z270E has and Strix Z270F does not

All TUF don't have diag codes on them. Not the ones I remember seeing. And yes, to see the diag code for TUF, you need to plug your phone to one of the USB ports. Other phone apps for some of their other boards are remote power on / restart, bios adjustments, clear cmos, and other features.

Well I may have just found my Z270 motherboard. The Maximus Hero has plenty of USB ports which is just what I'm after and if the prices are similar to Z170 it should be priced lower than the other boards with lots of USB ports.
