Casey Neistat`s Beme gets acquired by CNN

Well it seems like we now know the reason mr neistat quit vlogging a few days ago since he will join CNN with all of his BEME staff to work on some sort of new video brand. CNN supposedly paid a cool 25 million $ for the company, thats a lot of heli rides to the JFK Airport :)

Also they looking into giving mr neistat a way to even further increase his coverage.

He's a really really great vlogger. However, I condemn him for how he forced his political views on other youtubers in a rather hostile way. Great guy though.

i saw one video of his on my suggested whatever bar.  Watched most of it never seen another i was waiting for a hint at what he does on YT since he had so many views realized half way through he does nothing but Film Himself  just another form of realitly tv Something many are addicted to but IMO are Terrible.

 

The Only "Vloggy" Thing i watch is TrainerTips (Pokemon Go) But this Legit Has more then just walking around and watching him.. he Gives actual Tips Even though by now thats dried up after this amount of time for the most part.  Detailed Notes about app updates. Whats coming in future updates,  Separates Rumors and Real News talks about both though. Provides Spreadsheets to help people  organize whats good and more.

 

 

He does have some Episodes more full of Vlogs but also many full of boat loads of info or interesting topics about the game

I did find his 21,000$ Fly Emirates first class trip quite cool to watch!

 

But his other videos seems to be all about sports and living a rich mans life, something im not interested, at all, to watch on youtube.

I'm actually surprised at how many people don't know who Casey Neistat is. It would make sense for CNN to get him on their side. He does have a way with forcing his views down other peoples throats.

In all seriousness, he is a very prominent person for younger audiences, which I believe would be worth $25 million to a big corporation, especially one that is starting to be looked at with a bit of distrust. If your idol says to think a certain way, a lot of impressionable people will simply do what their idol told them to do.

Ive been on youtube since 2006 and have never heard of this guy.

Can't understand why such rubbish youtuber who makes rubbish videos will have so many subscribers.

 

I watched one/two videos of his....will never watch his channel again.

One wrong doesn't define an entire person's character. Besides, the election had everyone worked up. I only pointed that out because he had gotten a lot of shit for it, and was mostly known for doing that lately.

ITT: A bunch of people who think they are too cool for Youtube vlogs yet watch the childish videos from LTT.

 

Vlogs were taking a toll on his daily life. Putting up a video every time takes up a lot of time when you have a wife and a 2 year old daughter. $25 million for a small startup is equivalent of Instagram being bought for 1 billion. This is what you do when you have a very normal app that didn't launch into the stratosphere.

 

I've met Casey a handful of times over the years, working with him on a project for Karlie Kloss. He's a great down to earth guy.

 

It's silly for a bunch of kids on a forum to try and define a man through his videos when they don't know a single thing about him besides "I watched a video once"
