128GB SSD too little? (Dell XPS 13)

Nebbz

Thinking of getting Dell XPS 13 from newegg but they only have an option for 128GB SSD with 1920x1080 non touch 8GB RAM  OR 256GB SSD w/ 3200x1800 touch 8GB RAM. (16GB QHD 512GB option is over my budget)

I have a few questions about the XPS 13...

1. Is 8GB enough for everyday use? (I'm a programmer)

2. I heard battery life for 1080p is amazing and the QHD to be good as well. Is this true?

3. Is 128GB SSD not enough?

4. I also read that the keyboard is meh and there is a bit of keyboard flex. Is it that bad?

1. Depends on what you do, but I would say yes

2. Battery life on both is pretty good, 1080p is a bit better

3. 128Gb is on the low side, I would say get at least 250GB

4. There is a bit of flex, but it is totally aceptable, at least in my oppinion

Please quote me in any answers to my posts, so that I can read them easily and don´t forget about them. Thanks!

I love spending my time with PC tinkering, networking and server-stuff.

If you use it just to browse and use MS Office then it is more than enough.

128gb is barely enough for most programming jobs that i encountered. But i highly advise atleast 256 for the extra file storage.

i personally have 128gb, and have only 5gb left with atleast a dozen of programs installed with corresponding project files and documentation.

Your average Software Engineering student.
