Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

this proves that my CPU is bottle necking my GPU, if the 4770k sale is still going I will pick that up tomorrow.

Yea, definitely. I got a crappy overclocker too, with a better CPU, your score would be above mine.

you could probably run it again and get that extra one point or you could beat slick to it and do some outdoor, 3am benching at 1200mhz+ and beat all th titan and 780ti's  ;) also with your cpu being water cooled you could try pushing it another 2/300mhz which might boost your score a bit.

I could always ramp my CPU from 4.0 to 4.6Ghz and see how things go....

you should go for 4.8ghz my mates 3570k can do 4.8ghz and thats only being cooled by a 212 evo

I probably could but I meh, that would involve a cooler switch for me and I can't be bothered to do that.

cpu overclocking is lottery too... some cpu can barely get clock above 4,5...

I know but it should be able to do more than 4ghz. Most chips will do that on stock voltage.

It's not temps that's holding it back though, my card just isn't a very good overclocker. Anything above 1175 and I get artifacts regardless of temps unfortunately.

I'm tired of explaining it, just check the build log link in my signature it shows you what I have.

to get above 1180 I need to go past 100mV I go to 200mV to hit 1250, mine is liquid cooled so I have no heat issues, BUT the VRM still hit about 95-100 which is what it hits with stock cooler on stock clocks.

CPU Cooler's shouldn't be an excuse for overclocking ;) Especially during suicide runs.

I'm running my 2600k with the Intel Heatsink @ 5.2Ghz / 1.550v

Temperatures are ridiculous, although i don't mind considering it's only as long as the Valley run.

Can't you further overclock the VRam?

Oh okay. AB beta17 is limited to +100mV for me. Aren't your VRM's liquid cooled too?

Nope. Or well I might be able to get lucky. But even at the current clock settings i might not be able to get that score again.
