Challenge accepted-I'm using my Maxwell card as my 650ti has no hope in hell of scoring that high.

Just saying a GTX 980 couldn't beat either of these scores ;) but bring on the challenge.

Right, you need a card that's strong with DX9. I'll see what happens-though I was planning on installing my 970 in my OC rig with its Xeon X5450-and I really don't know how badly it bottlenecks high end cards.

Right, you need a card that's strong with DX9. I'll see what happens-though I was planning on installing my 970 in my OC rig with its Xeon X5450-and I really don't know how badly it bottlenecks high end cards.

I'm doing my current GPU right now my R9 280 Gaming with my 410W TDP BIOS.

I can't do anything crazy like that with my 970 or 650ti. The 970's shit VRM are faulty (fuck gigabyte) and the potential of my 650ti OC is limited by the single 6 pin connector (+150MHz core maximum stable due to power limits).

you can probably beat it with one of my bios's, its because the 970/980 wont boost.

You can't Maxwell gets fucked by color compression bullshit in Valley still.

Well here is the results of the 280 in windows 8.1, I really am disappointed with 8.1 still there is a overall overclock stability loss for 3d Benching but compute its like nothing I can push my 280 to 1350 core for doing just Open CL computations.

Kepler scaling is soo much better than maxwell... My 650ti gets a bit of a jump in performance with an overclock... And seeing it's my daily card for awhile... It comes in handy, but it is really bottlenecked by 1GB of VRAM...

My 970 used to do 1683MHz core in F@H stable, before its VRM started acting all screwy. And looking at the card there are only 6 VRM phases on the G1 Gaming.

When Kepler came out 1GB vRAM was no longer enough, you should have bought the 2GB version.

My 280 has 10 Phases. But its a very very hot PCB when its running with a GPU load.

I still look forward to the day when someone beats my Single GPU Basic score for Valley.

If I can get a G3258 that clocks well or get my 4690k to 4.6GHz then I'll be getting closer. Though I'm not sure if my 760 has the umph when not being held back

That was done on my benchmarking install, fresh copy of 7 Ultimate with only drivers installed. I need to cut it down to the basics still but that's only gonna be a minor increase.

145fps and above is my target that I want, minimum. But I do really wanna knock your 770 off the top spot :D

Well I'll be buying a 212 Evo some time next week so I should be able to push a bit more and at least hit 4.6, but the jump it needs from 4.4 is insane to even boot into Windows.

When it's Winter I'll be able to push my memory even further and start proper going for scores.
