Oh, you might fry your board doing it. :P

 

Lol, imagine if the G3258 was super taxing on any motherboard.

 

Also, getting ready to do benching with my ghetto cooled 650ti since the stock fan had it hitting 85C @1175MHz on the core, now only hitting 65C. :) May or may not be doing it on the shittastic Dell with the psu that is a sin. (PSU is in my signature, I actually have two, and I'm selling one and my 7770 to a friend. :P)

 

 

And that fan has coil whine. :(

 

 

 

looks much better now. its tiny compared with the 480 though and the 480 isn't a very big card tbh

Honestly surprising how hot 650tis get overclocked, on the stock fan, 82C overclocked, and 50C at stock clocks...

 

Also, Extreme HD is being read as Ultra fullscreen... :( I know the monitor is only 900p but it read as extreme hd on my tv which is 768p.

stock gpu fans are small and LP so they dont move much air, even at full speed, so the heatsink isn't used to its full potential. as you can see with a proper thickness fans and a decent amount of airflow the temps are greatly improved :)

 

that should be ok for this once, as long as its got 8x aa and all the other setting are corect

Well the monitor is 900p, and I'm using DSR to get it as close as possible to 1080p. (1960x1102....) Thanks for letting this one go, I'll get a score up in a little bit. :) Trying to get it to run through it with the core getting a extra 10MHz then what it's at right now.

So, finally got it done, thought I'd do a Basic run with the Extreme HD run that doesn't work correctly for some odd reason. :/ Eh, the resolution is close enough to 1080p, well, a little over actually.

It's kind of sad since I will most likely be getting a g3258 to replace it and put it in the Asus board I had in my computer. I don't think my brother would let me sell it to you since this computer was and is technically still his.

My scores, after realizing my card isn't half bad (the power mode reset itself to balanced after a windows update, and its gpu power management feature was messing with my overclocks)...

have not had any time to test temps and other things yet.

 

I had the whole area around me set up with towels and blankets and the chip stay pretty much in place when it did pop .
