In comming x58 system. old, slow and useless... or maybe not cause it looks like even with this old hardware a gtx 1080 Ti can get a desent score. In fact i am more hold back by my gfx power target cause of hit max, than my old x58 hardware.

Despite that i manage to get these scores.

I7 980X @ 4.67 ghz

Evga gtx 1080 ti sc2 gaming.

I do have intentions to upgrade my girlfriend's rig to a 5775c...

But prices are still way too high for that processor brand new.

So I have to patiently wait for a price drop, or search for good deal in the second-hand market.

Yeah I understand its a card thats designed with LN2 in mind but I kinda bought it cause it looked cool and @ £799.99 it was even in price with the Strix OC / FTW3 ICX / EVGA Hybrid / MSI Hybrid. Out of all these cards, owning a Lightning sounded more fun.

It is, but out of all the options available to me, the Lightning was the best.

Its got the best cooler, the most RGB, dedicated GDDR5X memory voltage adjustments, and with the LN2 BIOS giving me a little more power to play with I can hit ~6400 with the memory. I don't think there's another 1080ti that can do that without flashing the XOC BIOS.
