Eh, not sure. I doubt Valley supports all the new crap that the 480 has since the 480 seems to benefit the most from all the new optimizations. I mean, the rx480 core is a lot less powerful than something like the 290x which is where it generally performs.

my friend says that anything over 27 degrees Celsius is damaging to the components how did you manage the r9 200 seires (i know hes wrong especially because i have a 980 Ti that gets up to 85ish degrees Celsius)

Ps dont worry about me overheating the 980 Ti at all its the msi blower design cooler one

You can rerun it as many times as you'd like.

Valley does that.  No worries.

In response to your friend's comment about anything over 27c resulting in damage.  He's wrong.

i know that based on my gpu the r9 200 series and the gtx 480. he says my pc is going to burst into flames and that his laptop with a gtx 965m only got to 79 degrees Fahrenheit during a heaven benchmark

it never reaches 80c in games (76 in gta5 was the highest i saw) , its the blower card R9 290 , and valley and heaven are notorious for reading out those cards wrong

if it was really 1548248c my entire apartment block would be ashes by now :P

Another update!

If you don't see you scores on the scoreboard, please make sure you have submitted a screenshot of GPUZ with you result. A view of the sensors tab as well helps a lot when entering the actual clockspeed you ran at.

my blower 980 Ti reaches similar temps (closer to 83-83 not 1548248)
