Build Log - Temporal Snow! (Complete 30/11/16)

Go to solution Solved by stealth80,

ok so I got everything sorted today, the block arrived yesterday, but I had serious Man Flu and slept only 40 mins before my night shift!

So today I could finish it up, especially as the back plate was finalised!

23/11/16 - MORE PAINTING!!!

SoundBlaster Z painted to match the scheme and the PCI bracket straightened ready for vertical mounting against the back of the case

Got something arriving to customise the backplate a little

i really should paint my Soundblaster Z because that looks amazing

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Personally I'd keep the casing of the fans black as they blend in too much with the case now. The build looks amazing so for so I guess you know what you're doing :D
How's the performance of the fans? Did you do a good job and they are just as they were or are they louder and don't spin as nicely?

CPU: 2x Xeon E5 2670 Motherboard: ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16,  RAM: 64GB of 1333 MHz mermory from Samsung (ECC),  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070,  Case: NZXT Switch 810, Storage: Samsug EVO 250GB and 500GB, 3x3 TB and 1x1TB  HDD  PSU: Corsair RM 850,  Mouse: Logitech MX Master 2s,  Headset: Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO black edition (80 ohm), OS: UnRaid with two VMs and Plex

I haven't flashed the fans up yet as the loop is still partially drained whilst I wait for the gpu block to arrive. The finish on them isn't as great as I usually do, however that's mainly because I didn't want to keep adding coats and potentially cause symptoms you identified.

The block is here arriving tomorrow, hopefully along with the last thing I'm waiting on, so I will find out then

that fat radiator at the bottom is messing up this build lol :P how was the PCI riser running? maybe you can find a longer one and have it on the other side of the inlet/outlet of the block?

well i cant see a way to fit it in there that wont ruin the look of it at all, the only thing i can think off is a longer riser cable or a thinner rad but i dont think a thinner rad is going to happen because of temps mainly
