Everyone keeps talking about all these ads and whatnot happening on Win10/Win10 Pro, and I haven't had a single thing happen with my install of Win10 Pro....

Win10 is in no way a free OS.

I wasn't talking about Win10 but about how neither Edge nor Firefox, Chrome ect. are paid for.

 

But the point is moot anyways, it apparently applies to free stuff as well...

how about random freezing forcing an emergency shutdown and on bootup windows demands it installs updates
