R9 270X is it worth it?

Found an r9 270x for $210, i know its an older card but it preforms well, is it still worth it for a first time build?

For that price just get a rx 480 new, it will perform the same and have more vram.

Waht I would hope that the RX 480 would blow a 270X out of the water, not "perform the same"

Even if it's an 4GB version, I won't pay more than $140 for a R9 270x.

 

$210, you can get a RX480 4GB.

$140? A 270X barely outperforms the likes of the GTX 950 and GTX 750 Ti. If I were going to sell mine, I'd only ask $75 or so.

R9 270x for $210 lol. I would sell my GTX 970 in a second for $210.
