My new rig is literally being sent to me right now (specs on my profile) and I will probably still play CS:GO on some 4:3 stretched resolution with low settings maybe except shadows and some little gimmicks that actually help in-game (shadows actually help you spot enemies earlier). It's because I'm used to it, and in eSport competitive titles it's really hard to just change your settings and imediatelly be as good as you were before. It takes some additional hours to get used to it.

1) This is my new favorite thread because I just ordered all the parts for a very similar build.
2) Did you buy the parts used? those prices are ...... lower than what I paid ... and ill leave it there.
3) You have brought me much peace of mind :D I have been worried that the parts won't perform/work with games and 3D modeling software. Parts should start coming in Friday ... CANT HARDLY WAIT :D
