The input to the editor is handled by the browser, so it's an issue with Swiftkey, Android or Chrome.

I'm not able to reproduce this using Swiftkey with Chrome beta.

So this is happening on random on my phone. Happens after every space button. There is no pattern to it, happens after I quote, delete some older quote that got stuck, of even when I just try to reply. On some after a while it just stops happening but on others it's like that until I post it. Chrome 54.0.2840.68 and Swiftkey is my keyboard. Haven't reinstalled any apps, nor have I tried using other keyboard.

I suppose I'll have to do a bit of reinstalling then. Perhaps I'm patient 0. :ph34r:

Perhaps it's not an issue with beta edition? Or you know, I could just have a unique problem. :dry:

Oh good for you. :P Sadly I'm forced to use Chrome on my end.

I'm forced to use Firefox for the forums. I use Dolphin for everything else.

That is actually an interesting idea, exclusively for this. Better than Chrome in this regard? What does it fix?

My main issue with mobile browsers is zooming and rendering. Dolphin is just best at it, Firefox being second. Both Opera and Chrome are horrible with text scaling. I don't remember what my other issues with Chrome were. Possibly the way bookmarks and tabs worked.

Funny because that's why I exclusively use Chrome, to sync bookmarks over 6 devices. I can't stand bookmarks on other browsers. 

Anyhow, I've just downloaded Firefox on phone, will try to use it for forum, since it could make things much easier on my end.

Lol this is funny to me, because we used to have a kid on here that would capitalize every single word on purpose. He said it was easier for him to have caps lock on, and to hold shift to make most letters lowercase.

 

Weird.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

I believe that bug is fixed in the next update, but it has existed since we updated to this forum software.

Just to confirm that this is a Swiftkey issue, in case anyone else encounters it.

Going into typing in keyboard settings and disabling Auto capitalization solved it. I have re-enabled it since It is useful, but it happens again, so either disabling it until the next update or disabling and enabling it every time are the only choices it seems. Reinstalling didn't help as well.
