BF1 Ultra 4k looks so wrong

o.O Texture sizes are usually given as 1K (1024x1024), 2K (2048x2048), 4K (4096x4096), and so forth. They are not 16:9, and they have no relationship to your monitor resolution aside from higher-PPI monitors perhaps making poorer quality textures more apparent.

Well, since I was eyeballing the texture quality,I believe you. Some textures are subpar though. Maybe 1K over a large area. Hence at 1440p and 4K you get not so nice looking results.

I can visually see the blurriness. Or could since I haven't played Bf 1 since xenoverse 2 and Armoured Warfare Global Operations came out...

Main rig: Shockwave - MSI Z170 Gaming 7 MOBO, i7-6700k, 16GB DDR4 3000 MHz RAM, KFA2 GTX 980ti HOF, Corsair RM1000 PSU, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD, WD 7200RPM 3TB, Corsair Air 540 White, ASUS P278Q 1440p 144Hz display.

Laptop: Lenovo Y510p, i7-4700HQ, 12 GB (8+4) 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, GT755 2GB SLI graphis card, 1366x768 display.

alright, it seems that the bad textures are mostly in the first 2-3 campaing mission, after that, didnt have any complain.

game looks good, but no option for draw distance, even at ultra you can clearly see the map cluster loading in front of you when you walk. im pretty sure thats why game is doing great at fps on all platform cause it render a really small portion at max detail.

anyway, this game is good so far and run great, ill leave theses minor issues on the side

I wasn't necessarily questioning that some of the textures are imperfect, only that they aren't "720p."

The texture you've shown there does look pretty mediocre, though I think you'd be hard-pressed to find any multi-platform game that doesn't cut a few corners here and there. I haven't personally noticed any textures that look that bad in my hours with the game, though I admit I haven't really gone out of my way to do so either.

The sight on your rifle looks pretty nice, though. The numeral markings are crystal clear at 2160p, and I think the water droplet effect looks great.

I noticed that in the first war story the reflections and water splashes on the mounted machine gun look like a highly compressed JPEG.
