Question to Fostex t50rp mk3 owners

I wanted to find out if those adjustment rods are getting loose after some time, like ones on Grado headphones.

I have had my pair for a couple of months it is still rigid and stays in place. The screws on the side of the headband are able to be tightened to keep the adjustment rods in place.

I suppose, you're using proprietary cable and pads?

I'm using Hybrid pads and stock cable. I have a modded version called Cascadia Audio Talos. From what I've heard the stock pads are too thin and uncomfortable.

Damn that mod looks sexy.

 

Yes, I'm aware of pads, so I'll order another ones as soon as I get t50rp. I've also heard about cable issues, so I'm making a braided 90-degree custom cable right now.

Nice, i've been meaning on ordering some new cables, but haven't gotten around it.
