Does the DTS Ultra PC II provide the same effect, as Sennheiser 363D  Virtual 7.1 Surround USB soundcard?

idk about that card but im going to say it right now the game one has that 3dm1 adaptor amazon recommends with it and its pretty damn good for music and voices in general however i would not recommend it for gaming as the 7.1 surround on it is not very good when it comes to distance positioning and direction everything sounds clear but things 100feet away in game sound about as loud as if they were 20feet and its hard to tell even with its good soundstage. i don't recommend the pc373d unless you play well optimized sounds in certain games it has a very empty bathroom type sound you know instant echoes type of deal.

its great for overwatch though.
