Best 21:9 Monitor

Eeeey Guys!

What 21:9 Monitor would you recommend for Gaming and Photo/Video Editing as a Hobby?

My budget is around 1K Euro, I could save up some more

Since you are willing to go for the high end segment you might wanna save another 200€ :-)

 

For serious G-Synced gaming and everything else there are only two viable options in your category:

Acer Predator X34A, 34" (UM.CX0EE.A01)

or

ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q, 34" (90LM02A0-B01370)

 

Both of them sell for about 1200€ and are made of pixie farting unicorn porn with g-sync and PiP and 3440x1440 and 100 Hz and curved and whatever anybody could ever need. Both of them are totally fine display wise and come with shitty speakers that are best turned of at arrival.

 

Keep in mind you obviously need something in the category of a 980 / 1070 or better to play the witcher 3 at ultra settings. a voodo 2 will do for CS GO though .... :-)

 

So yeah, that's that. Doesn't matter which one you buy, go for the one that looks better to you :-) (which of course is the Acer, because Asus screwed up with that stand for 12 year olds.)

if you can Acer Curved 34-inch UltraWide QHD (3440 x 1440)

 

really for ultrawide you want to make sure its 3440x1440

I have the Acer Predator X34.  I highly recommend it.  I also own a gtx 1080.  Performs very well at that resolution.  G-sync is great for gaming.
