No afterburner overlay on BF1

I've noticed that neither Fraps or Msi afterburner is displayed on battlefield 1, is it only for me or not?

i5-4690k, R9 380 4gb, 8gb-1600MHz ram, corsair vs 550w, astrock h97m anniversary.

I think it's because of DX12

the recent msi afterburner + rivatuner update brought support to DX12. perhaps the OP needs to update it

Thing is I did download the new version and still nothing. (works fine with other games)
