With people worrying about running out of oil you'd think having plenty would be a good thing. ?

Sorry Canada.  That's too bad...

Wish we had Canadian rupees here to spend on hardware. here in Europe hardware is even more expensive then Canada :(

recently my CPU fan was starting to stall out so i had to ironicly upgrade the heatsink xD for around 15 dollars that is :/ its not much but dam its keeping my Cpu alot cooler than the stock heatsink on idle it droped to around 6*C and its holding at 31-32*C under Max load not bad for 15 bucks

Awww.  I'll admit those are cute too.  Like the chinchilla eating a Dorito that one person on this site uses for their display picture.  It's in their username too.

This is kind of true. But how long will you wait?
Geforce 1600 series is gonna be SO much faster, but you will still be able to play LoL xD

Well for now I mostly want to wait until VR is feasible on a single mid-range GPU, without games being on the lowest settings/dropping below 90fps.

Also until there's that one game that I really want to play but just cannot due to how outdated my PC is, so far I haven't run into that scenario since upgrading my GPU from 5870 to 7970Ghz. (Before I couldn't even play Dead Rising 3 or Shadow of Mordor)

So who knows, maybe in a generation or two. (of GPUs, so up to 3 years?)

I find the best way to scratch this itch is to upgrade your peripherals now and then - desk, monitors, keyboard, mouse, led strips, new pc case speakers etc etc

I bought an ikea fredde desk 2nd hand for £50 and that meant i could spend ages re-setting everything up and cable management, such fun!

  • Let it "slip" off a high building or surface.

Or you know, sell the parts and use the money to buy a new system that way you save some money :)

Or just let Hillary whack it with a hammer like she did with her 12 servers :)

It runs all the games at low-high settings depending on the game / Crossfire support.

But just wondering how much faster everything would be on a new hardware set. 6700k & 1070 gtx ^_^xD

Bought all parts Second-hand 3 years ago, and they JUST KEEP ON GOING. xD

Dude when I was building my current rig. I was thinking about the next one. LOL

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
