We're out of ideas (Pre-production Job Announcement)

From "barely tolerable to a handful of people to the next level"?

So... "barely tolerable to a mass of people"?

Even though I have family in Vancouver, it'll be too awkward.

I'd be tempted but my ideas would fall into enterprise territory or extremely technical(sensor arrays and parallel computing) which wouldn't interest the average LTT crowd xD

If the idea is interesting and we can somehow make it relatable to the general audience, it's a good idea no matter what aspect of tech it stems from. We originally thought that server videos weren't suitable for the average LTT crowd, but some of them are among our most viewed videos.

My advice would be to give it a shot and see what happens. No sense in counting yourself out before you even try :)

I knew, I should have parachuted off my flight, as it passed over Vancouver BC, while heading towards Anchorage Alaska, for a refueling stop.

Dang it!

I am really hoping they find someone who can benchmark more in-depth (possibly the current staff can but they just don't have the time or want to for that matter?). The average LTT YouTube viewer might not care about things like .1% or .01% low fps values but I do and I am sure many others would find it very helpful once explained and introduced. To be blunt the benchmarking game library is sad for a channel of this size, sure you can say well just go to Anandatech lazy ass. My response is why make a video if you wont cover these things in the first place? Having the video format, along with articles from other sources is what I feel to be the best way to retain benchmarking values.

Most importantly LTT needs more grills  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

I wouldn't mind but would the community want to see a longer video?

The videos don't necessary need to be longer, for example you can fit the .1% and .01% on the same graph scene, adding more games would just be a few more graphs or they could just shrink the graphs to fit more values. I know that sounds bad they they have a ton of wasted real estate now. Seriously most of their benchmarks have like 3 Y values and huge spaces. As long as they don't explain every single little thing (which they shouldn't anyway) the videos could for the most part stay the same length.
