Best card on the cheap, but also reliable? I was looking at some gigabyte model but is there any cheaper ones?

Dont get USB based ones.

They have terrible reception, and often dont supprort AC>

 

Plus you will probably use them.

 

Get the gigabyte one that is top of PCPP, its great.
