Unable to Port Forward.

Eredian

When I try to port forward what I entered just resets after I save. I did a factory reset so nothing has been changed and I have no idea what would be causing this. I'm using Shaw and the model of the router is in the picture attached.

Get a router/modem thats not the one from your isp. It will save you money and is better.

The port might be blocked, try a different port, also don't put a port in the end port.

Did you try adding the port forwarding rule (button below fields) before saving?

My ASUS router requires me to add the rule to the table and then click save - it won't save from the fields itself.

I agree with the first bit there, but usually 25565 isn't blocked (at least, I've never seen it blocked before). There also isn't any issue with putting a port in the end port either.

I'm not sure if he is doing so, but it does look like he's clicking on the button below the fields.

Either way, I'd vouch for getting at least a router that's not provided from the ISP, as usually (in my experience, especially with Cisco routers) they have 0 luck port forwarding. But that's just my 2 cents :)
