I guess if Eurocom fucked it up. If the DDR4 slot was the 1 it shipped with Eurocom got a new shipment of these things. Ask Amazon for a refund and ask Eurocom for a reimbursement LOL.

So I bought this laptop

http://www.eurocom.com/ec/configure(1,340,0)ec

And got this ram type of Ram

ram.PNG

But when I opened up the laptop the slot for the Ram do not match so I was wondering did I mess up?

Showing the mismatch of the Ram

And here's a picture of the two Ram sticks - the one with the sticker was already in the laptop

Well just from the photo it's quite clear, the laptop are labeled DDR4 modules the ones you have are DDR3 based ones.

From the website drop list all the Ram are listed as DDR3L so I thought you needed DDR3L hence the reason I got these.

Contact the seller and ask for a return with shipping paid for. They sent you the wrong product.

Yeah as mentioned contact the sellter then since the site is incorrect in the listing for DDR3L RAM for that laptop.

Ahh, was wondering if that was the case but was confused as the sticker on the back on the RAM sticks had the correct serial number.

Don't even bother returning it. Just bitch to Amazon about disrupting your business due to inability to use computer and they'll 1 day ship you the correct shipment without asking for a return. Now go post our DDR4 set online for some extra money LOL. Sell it somewhere.

Lol how do you even do that? First time I ever had to deal with customer service over an online order. Would I just write up a storm in mini-description where you file they sent you the wrong order?

Just send an aggressive email to Amazon. They sent me the wrong pair of QC25s and I told them I specifically paid for 1 day shipping to make it onto my plane tomorrow. They sent the package overnight and arrived in the morning before my plane ride with the shipping refunded. Amazon has exception customer service.

Speaking of which, I'm curious which model is your laptop. Cause Clevo makes two versions of these. 1 with DDR3L and 1 with DDR4. Eurocom could of easily gotten the DDR4 version and just fuck it not update the website.

@ingoi

Can you take a picture and flip your ram around. I'm pretty sure Eurocom isn't that incompetent. From the picture it looks like your trying to slot the ram in the wrong way.

Lol, well then I would have never even guessed that the laptop was the one that was wrong. When I read the RAM stick that was on the laptop it said DDR4 but didn't give it much thought other than "thats weird".

I even took a picture of it as well lol.......
