HP 15-ay087no (good for general use?)

My buddy needs a new laptop, and whilst helping him search I stumbled upon the HP 15-ay087no, hes only going to use It for "regular stuff" so no video editing or gaming whatsoever, just browsing the Internet. The specs are:

i3 5005U

128GB SSD (unnamed)

6GB DDR3 (1600Mhz)

Windows 10

674$ (but note that things In Norway are more expensive than In the US) I also came across the Acer Aspire E5-575 which seems to have better specs at the price of 490$ (specs: i3-6157U, 6GB DDR4 (2133Mhz), 256GB SSD)

I actually have almost the exact same laptop with similar specs from HP

HP 15ac048 ca

 

i3 5005u and 8gb of RAM with 1tb of hdd

 

Storage might bit small. Spec is fine.

 

In fact the design of 15ay is almost the same as mine.

higher clock speed, can't find much about it. but my HP seems to be working fine

Sure why not...  Although there are probably better options at that price point.
