Once I get a workshop space set up, I think I'll attempt a motherboard wall. Scrap PCBs can be had for a few hundred dollars per metric ton, though meeting the minimum order might be problematic.

I really like the motherboard wall, but now I'm wondering if somewhere in there you could have left one working motherboard and had a "Wall PC" running to a wall mounted monitor somewhere.  You could have one of Logitechs K400s (or one of the nicer versions of it) with a nano receiver to control it.  I'm fairly sure that would be a massive project on it's own, but it would be cool.
