Grub not letting windows boot.

Go to solution Solved by vorticalbox,

Use sudo update-grub and sudo grub-install /dev/[BOOT PARTITION eg. Sda6] commands in terminal of ubuntu, probably it will solve your problem.

this command system will automatically detect window installation and add them to grub list.

I installed Manjaro on my machine, makins sure to use an unallocated partition. When I boot, grub only gives me the option of booting to linux. I liik in Gparted, and the windows partition is still there. I have a windows recovery DVD, but it cant detect anything. Any Ideas?

Thanks!

I tried resetting windows (since thats what worked when trying to uninstall DOS from another computer) but it crashed at 10%. Are there corrupted windows files now?
