TP-Link isn't a modem but I would recommend it for the WLAN and basic NAS functionality.

I've never used them so I can't (and won't) comment.

Actually my isp provides rj 45 so I don't need a modem, so in that case is to link C50 better?

my usual solution is buying a bunch of "tp-link tl-wr841n"s and dotting them around since they're practically free anyways :P

that said.. they're a bit on the slow side, in a best case you'll only get ~50Mbps with these. (yes, they're wireless N, they're just potato.)

I have a TP-Link Archer C8.  Near identical capabilities as the C7, but it runs a Broadcom chipset (if I remember correctly, the same exact one that's in the Asus and Netgear AC1750's) rather than the Atheros chipset in the C7.  The C8 also usb3 port rather than USB2 only (a feature I used exactly once).  Literally my only complaints about it are the firmware mine shipped with had a bug (which was fixed with an update), and that it's white.

Otherwise the thing is a beast.  It easily handled four heavy users with 2-4 computers/laptops/phones/tablets each, multiple chromecasts/roku devices, a crapton of smarthome gear.

I took it out of the box, set up SSID's and passwords, disabled WPS, set a couple DHCP reservations, and left it the hell alone.  Which is exactly the experience I'd like out of a router.

I was originally going to spend quite a bit more on a fancy WRT1900AC, but ended up realizing that the C8 does everything I need and only cost $115 shipped when I bought it.  Also found out that the WRT1900 and any other linksys from that period are made by Belkin, which was a hard NOPE for me.

The C7/C8 is my universal recommendation whenever someone needs a decent router for more than just basic use.

SFF-ish:  Ryzen 5 1600X, Asrock AB350M Pro4, 16GB Corsair LPX 3200, Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro -75mV, 512gb Plextor Nvme m.2, 512gb Sandisk SATA m.2, Cryorig H7, stuffed into an Inwin 301 with rgb front panel mod.  LG27UD58.

Aging Workhorse:  Phenom II X6 1090T Black (4GHz #Yolo), 16GB Corsair XMS 1333, RX 470 Red Devil 4gb (Sold for $330 to Cryptominers), HD6850 1gb, Hilariously overkill Asus Crosshair V, 240gb Sandisk SSD Plus, 4TB's worth of mechanical drives, and a bunch of water/glycol.  Coming soon:  Bykski CPU block, whatever cheap Polaris 10 GPU I can get once miners start unloading them.

MintyFreshMedia:  Thinkserver TS130 with i3-3220, 4gb ecc ram, 120GB Toshiba/OCZ SSD booting Linux Mint XFCE, 2TB Hitachi Ultrastar.  In Progress:  3D printed drive mounts, 4 2TB ultrastars in RAID 5.

Thanks i went with Netgear R6220, TP link 1750 is way too costly for me and tp link c50 is in my budget but i found out that tplink C5 was the newer one which was also out of my budget.

PS i found out that Tplink doesnt come with Gigabit ports. so went with netgear R6220
