Same as the one in my signature. Except for the motherboard.

I got a MSI P67-GD55 on the original build, but I won a Intel DZ77RE-75k in a sweepstakes so I started using that instead.

An AMD Athlon Thunderbird CPU... which I paired with a Voodoo 3 (bought the card first, put it in an acer machine which was PCI... it wasn't even an AGP card!)... and some other things like 1 GB of RAM.

Man... I feel old all of a sudden.

CPU Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core

Video Card HIS Radeon HD 7870 2GB

I noticed this as i was looking through but, i think that your CPU is bottle necking the 7870 by a noticable bit, any reason you chose a i3 and a 7870?

I built a computer 1-2 years ago in a 3 day college course with just random parts they gave us. However the PSU was already installed along with the motherboard standoffs and the cpu was already in the motherboard and the thing didn't boot but yeah, that was my first experience building a computer. Admittedly the motherboard wasn't labelled for front panel headers and the instructor showed us the wrong diagram and the right one was upside down.

I have also de-constructed my old pc that is now been thrown out and started it with a screwdriver and it worked very slowly, probably     because of the high dust filled parts and HDD filled with viruses I believe.

CPU: i5 4430 PSU: XFX 550w Ram: 8gb Patriot Viper 1600mhz

Motherboard: MSI H87M-G43 Case: Fractal Design Define R4

SSD: 840 Evo 250gb, 512gb MX100 GPU: MSI GTX 980TI Gaming Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
