can't remember everything but.

pentium II 300mhz or was it higher.

some motherboard forgot which brand.

some hdd

64mb ram.

not sure if it was a 8mb or a 16mb video memory for graphics.

some cheapo case that looks shit even to this date.

and some crt monitor can't remember the size but should be something like 15" +/-

this is like really long time ago.

I skipped pentium 3 though and went directly to pentium 4 since back then this had all the power I needed.

although I bought a compaq pentium 3 pc since I got a good deal at it. then bought a hp pentium 4 which I still have right now.

Live your life like a dream.

Mine was something very similar as an starter.

Mine was:

CPU: pentium core 2 duo

Mobo: Was some low prize MSI

RAM: It always was and is Kingston, back then it yet a DDR2 and i have it 4gb

Power supply: 450w Chieftech

HHD: 500 gb western Digital

Gpu: It was some used Geforce GTX 880

Case: some cheap cooler master

Dvd Drive: LG DL 48X

That was very ghetto rig because, it was back then. When i started all, and i have to save the money. Because i haven't back my own in-come's. :D

Failure is not an option!

My very first computer had an AMD Athlon 1GHz processor. I was the coolest nerd on the block. LOL. It was paired with a 3Dfx Voodoo 3, all baked inside the most generic beige PC case in history. xD

Mine was an Athlon 64+ system that I bought each component for $50 or less. Was more of an exersise in sticking to a budget than anything else. Now I build all of my computers and it still serves me well as a media server.

I think it had (when I first built it) 4GB DDR2, a HD4000 series, and 320 GB HDD all put into a cheap Rosewill case powered by the include PSU. I've since added a few drives and a RAID card but otherwise it's still the same machine I built back in (I think) 2004.
