What will the subject(s) be? Programming (languages)? Networking? Terms? Consumer electronics?

Everything? That's way too broad to give helpful tips :P

Best quick tips I can give is gigabit is not the same as gigabytes and you could also look up stuff on gibibyte and stuff.

Other than that, maybe some stuff on frequencies and their meanings.

Here is some advice, look at your notes (which you probably did not take), Go to your TA (whom will tell you I cannot teach you everything you learned for your mid-term) and lastly go to class.

Just saying "IT quiz" doesn't help us in any way.  You would have to be more specific.  Are you referring to something for a certification like A+ or Network+?  Is this for school, and if so what class?  There are many different tests which all focus on different parts.

That is extremely vague, which was my point in asking my facetious question.

One of the easiest ways to print something to the web page in JavaScript is to use document.write('The thing you want to display')

Modern impact drivers have fully computer controlled triggers, while you may think a mechanical switch would be more desirable, the addition of a brushless motor over a standard brushed motor generally requires a programmed response to trigger inputs.

The average cost of a 120mm case fan in Australia is $16.3

The first computer with a mouse driven GUI was the Xerox Alto, the reason Xerox is a leader like Microsoft and Apple however is due entirely to executives at Xerox being fucking dumbasses

AMD's "8 core" CPU's, such as what is found in the FX 8350 do indeed have 8 cores, but things like the processors L2 and to a greater extent L3 cache are shared between two cores. This means that if 2 cores that share the same cache need that full access to the cache, you experience some performance loss as tasks get put into a queue

Asking broad and general questions on an online forum when you have to have at least a little bit of helpful information to add generally yields incredibly unhelpful responses

I am good at computer

Transistors allowed modern computing.
Ada Lovelace is the mother of computing.
Alan Turing is the father of computing.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee (mostly) invented the internet whilst at CERN.
Bush did 9/11.

Just make sure you write all of that down in your exam. You'll definitely come top of your class.

Either this is a troll, or you genuinely want to just know "everything in IT" but either way, this thread is clearly not helping, and no 1 thread ever could.  If you really want to know more about a specific thing, please make a new one with the specifics described, and I'm sure you'll get less nonsense and more help in the answers.

-locked-

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
