You won't need a 650W power supply but more is always nice to have. For $10 AUD more, I'd get the 650W (provided that it's a good quality power supply).

550W is more than enough. The quality of the PSU matters more than the wattage in this case. What PSUs are you looking at?

Corsair RM650X and Corsair RM550X

Get the RM650x if it's only $10 AUD more.

if the psu is running at its maximum will the system overheat. Or if I have the 650 which will be enough will the system not overheat because it's enough power? @HKZeroFive

If the cooling is sufficient, the system won't overheat. The system itself won't draw anywhere near 500W so don't worry about insufficient wattage.

I only suggested the RM650x because I believe the fan won't start to kick up as soon as the RM550x's. Plus, more is always nice.
