  1. 1. Who do you vote for?

*this may have been already created but I want to take this from a different angel

Who would you vote for and why?

I'd vote for Trump because he's a bit more open about what's he has done in his life, and I respect him for not being ashamed of himself.

I'd never vote for Hillary for a very long list reasons including those 33,000 deleted emails on her private server, this case for her as an attorney - http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/06/20/exclusive-hillary-clinton-took-me-through-hell-rape-victim-says.html, helped allow Nuclear weapons into the hands of Iran - https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/sep/09/hillary-clinton-backs-iran-nuclear-deal-it-is-no-longer-in-much-doubt, and her plans as a president, the things she says about how jobs are created, etc. is just stupid & sad.

I don't hate her for being a woman, I hate her for being stupid enough to run for president while thinking that businesses and corporations do not create jobs, lol.

Trump isn't a pretty choice either, however, he's better than Hillary because America is in debt. American kinda needs to someone to be untrusting of refugees from a part of the world that is dedicated to destroying the U.S. & Canada. Also, I think a lot of what Obama has done is pretty much just causing more damage to the U.S.

Quick video about Hillary:

*Note: I've been up for a very long time. I'll fix the problems when I feel like it. Deal with it.

Please don't.  We don't want people who will run away over something so stupid.  Also, we tend to look down on Americans, you'll find us less friendly than you thought.

Lots of people wearing "Make America Great" hats up here.

I'm not going to vote.

Are you an American Citizen of voting age?

If so, I strongly discourage you from not voting. Voting is one if the biggest and most important powers and responsibilities that a citizen holds. It's our responsibility as part of a democracy to vote.

By not voting, you're letting the system work without your input. You essentially give up the right to complain about what happens, if you don't vote.

But it's a personal choice of course :)

Though if it were up to me Rand Paul would be the RNC nominee

The fact the other people's opinions and choices have an effect on your blood pressure may be an indicator of a larger problem(with you).

If I were American, I would vote Trump.  Though I did help bring the Liberals into power when the CPC didn't keep their word.

I have no desire to vote. Neither Hilary nor Trump interest me, and I don't like politics. They become much like religion - unreasonably heated and illogical with some people, and it's not something I wish to deal with.

And before anyone asks, I am an American citizen and I have the ability to vote. I'm just not doing it. Politics do not interest me.

Just as you cannot recognize satire, you miss the relevance of Donald's ignorance, dishonesty and self serving interests.  Do you understand that Donald Trump's credit is so bad in the USA, he is not allowed to leverage any more debt.  It has been this way for a while.  He has borrowed from foreign banks in places like Russia to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

I bet you can't see the relevance in a president personally owing foreign banks money either.  The only person Donald will attempt to take care of is himself, not the citizens of the USA.

He is fucked financially, a joke in the world of business.  This presidency is a way out for him.

Suckers vote for Trump.

I'm not suggesting Trump is a Saint, however the option of Clinton is much worse.  She's a career politician with no intention to change the status quo.  She has been personally responsible for the deaths of American servicemen.  She mishandles information, ignores regulations.

Trump is far from perfect and honestly I don't want to see a Trump like candidate in Canada but there realistically is only two choices(kind of like Canada really) and Trump is the lesser of the two evils.

No, fuck no.  Trump is not the lesser of two evils.  No, Trump is not better than Clinton.  No.  Every fault in Clinton's campaign, career, or personality is exacerbated in Trump's run.

The difference is that when Clinton's unethical conduct stops, Trump continues to be bad.  When Clinton stops lying, Trump continues to lie.  When Clinton displays ignorance of a topic, Trump will display a monumental level of ignorance of a topic... and many more topics than Clinton.

Sadly, when you look at the questionable status quo politics of Clinton, the Trump camp is not a better choice in any regard. I really mean any regard.

Trumps done.

He is an avid climate change denier.  It would work 20 years ago, not in 2016.

He does not pay many taxes and determines that bankruptcy is a "smart" business move.

He will take care of ISIS so fast, and pull back the troops from foreign countries... at the same time!

Bottom line, he will try do to stupid things because he is relatively stupid.

He failed in the Birther Movement:  Trump is 100% a failure.   <<Do you understand how stupid this is?

Trump just keeps lying and lying, politifact can barely keep up with all the bullshit he spreads, 53% of his claims are false. Make that 70% if you include "mostly false" statements.

The only reason to vote for this imbecile is to essentially doom your own country.

As "crooked" Hillary is, she is a LOT better than whatever Trump is.

But hey, I'm Canadian, while the US elections might have a few repercussions on us up here, it won't be as bad as living in the US under the control of some crazy wannabe dictator.

@stconquest

Do you really think that bolding your words, or making them larger and in a different color actually adds anything to the discussion?

Your definition of unethical conduct is perhaps a little too broad.  I believe in freedom of speech, I proudly wear the label of an asshole.  So please provide some better examples than he says things people don't like to hear.

If the desire is the change the status-quo, the only answer is Trump.  That is simple math.

Bankruptcy can be a very wise business move, so perhaps you should take some time to educate yourself on the subject.  Even in personal life sometimes bankruptcy can be a good move, especially if the rules are in the debtors favor.  I've known a couple people here in Canada who have used Bankruptcy for a positive outcome for themselves.  I don't agree with them but I place no blame on them for using lawful regulations to their advantage.

I believe in climate change, there is plenty of history to prove Earths climates have gone through a number of changes.  I believe it is supremely arrogant to claim we're solely

responsible for it.  I'm perfectly okay with continuing to pollute if it means we can get out of debt.  Here in Canada our government should be doing everything in its power to help get oil and gas to market.  Spend the royalties on developing the infrastructure to eventually transition to clean, self sustainable energy.  We cannot just transition overnight to an emissions free, clean energy, save the world attitude.  We're like a bad case drug addict, you have to ween them down slowly or they might die.

Some of your other comments are essentially name calling and have no place in a civilized debate, thus I won't address them.

5.  Some of your other comments are essentially name calling and have no place in a civilized debate, thus I won't address them.

1.  Yes, because my points are irrefutable... but you try so... let's go.

2.  Unethical behavior out of these two camps would be:  lying to the public in a public forum; stealing/financial corruption; hurting others needlessly; being beholden to entities and groups that have say in a politician's decision making process other than the general public;  and many more.

Unethical has absolutely nothing to do with:  "...examples than he (Trump, I assume) says things people don't like to hear."  <<like WTF?

3.  I'll make this simple so you can understand:  Trump is worse than the status quo, as set by Clinton... and the Clintons are (I would argue) the most successful politicians the US has ever seen.  Successful while utilizing some very corrupt, and legal, practices along the way.  Trump is a miserable failure, and incapable of running a government.  He talks shit... that's it.

4.  Six bankruptcies later.  I guess Trump sees a socialist way out as his status quo.  I bet he says something to the contrary.

5.  Science bitch.  The math was in over 40 years ago.  Now we see the math, from back then, in the real world.  Please remove your head from out you ass.  I don't care if you are all for polluting.  How the fuck is what you "think" relevant?   The sad truth is, you are wrong.  This is not a:  "Is climate change our fault?" thread.

6.  You are lying, or being dumb.  I did not essentially name call in the post you quoted, not in the least.  This might indicate that you have no real arguments.  Why not just stop?  Are you trying to take the high road while being wrong?  ...like saying Clinton is a liar, then saying you support Trump.  Haha.

If you even try to argue point six, I am done.  Have a good weekend.  :)
