Should I get a 4k monitor with 5ms response time 60Hz and a 27¨ display or a 1440p monitor with 1-2ms response time >100 Hz and a 32-34¨ display?

What is your computer. Can it handle 4K well. If  not I would stick with 1440p @ 100hz

The 1440p, 100 Hz, 32 - 34" option, no challenge. The increase in refresh-rate makes a huge difference, if you game.

i have a rig that will be able to support 4k once it is complete. I am going for gaming but i would like good color accuracy and resolution from my display.

I used to own a 4k 60hz display and now own a 34" 3440x1440 100hz.. And the ultra wide is 100x better than 4k!

And the visual difference between 3840x2160 and 3440x1440 isn't massive. You really wouldn't notice it.

I was worried I'd notice a huge difference. But even side by side it wasn't anything big enough to worry about
