My vote is mechanical keyboards - I couldn't care less - IMO your lucky to have a normal keyboard never mind one that costs 100s and has pretty lights on it... angry face

windows 10 mobile seems really cool, i really like the idea of your phone being used as a full desktop environment. i just hate microsofts practices.

my unpopular tech opinion: most high end hardware is a complete waste of money for consumers, quality often doesn't improve and the performance increase is barely noticeable.

SSDs are massively overrated. I boot my computer a couple of times a day so I could give a shit if it takes 30 seconds less. I also think small SSDs are complete wastes. The only real advantage I find with my SSD is in loading times for games, so in the days of 60 GB games no SSD smaller than 250 GB makes any sense in a gaming system.

I have an original Ipad mini. This demonstrates my opinion that upgrading hardware is not something that is a necessity, because it depends on what you use it on.

People who have a red colour scheme for their PC are just kids. :P

Also people who use RGB for anything other than a static colour are just as "immature"....

Newer first person shooter multiplayer games are getting worse and worse.  In my opinion the maps are getting too big, too many players and options are now involved.  I think there was a golden age of multiplayer FPS games and developers just kept adding more and more garbage taking out the simple fun of simply gunning each other down.

Noctua's color scheme choice is enough to make me steer clear of the performance benefits, the LTT edition fans are no exception

I'll add another unpopular opinion relevant to this comment:

My favorite FPS game was COD MW3 on PS3. Haven't it played in years but no FPS has grabbed me the same

I've always wondered about that, there has to be a reason why they don't offer a color selection.

The comment probably pertains more towards the plethora of red and black mobo's that companies release.  It's just not as appealing to an older audience, especially people who have been building for awhile(so many red & black boards since X58).

  • I really, really like Windows 8.1.
  • I really, really don't like Windows 10.
  • I don't think that having LED fans in a PC build makes it look tacky.
  • IKEA isn't the second coming of Christ.
  • I hate FPSs, including CS:GO (only FPS I like is Half-Life 2)
  • MS Office > Google Docs.
  • Norton Security is an excellent AV.

Probably something along the lines of 'Because we're Noctua, we're special and deserve to be different'

I prefer Adobe's Creative Cloud Subscription service over the one time purchase of Photoshop/Lightroom.
