Compatible motherboard for Xeon E5-2670 v1

Go to solution Solved by zMeul,

you will need a LGA2011 mobo with Intel's C602 or X79 chipset

Hi. This is Rifat from Bangladesh. Recently I bought a Intel Xeon E5-2670 v1 processor from ebay because of the extreme cheap price. But I am a bit confused about the motherboard compatibility. Can anyone suggest me some compatible motherboard for this processor? I want to build a system.

The problem with the 2670 is that while it's extremely cheap, finding compatible boards that are cheap is usually quite hard to do.

But as zMeul said, any LGA2011 board with an x79 or C602 chipset.
