So i updated my pc about a week ago, and 3 days ago my pc started running wierd. It was lagging when i played cs, and my desktop was very slow.

I have tried: factory reset, took off game-dvr and disabling bits

Hold "CTRL+SHIFT+ESC"

Click on the "Performance" tab

check what is the state of the different components, while on the desktop nothing should be high.

If you could take a screenshot and upload it that would help.

Should check DPC latency, and maybe use resource monitor to get a better idea of why exactly your computer is so unresponsive.

Windows 10 tends to break a lot, and drivers that aren't fully compatible don't really help.

http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

Download, install, run, play button in top left hand corner, let it run for a few minutes.

The issue might be immediately apparent on the main page, you'd be looking at "Highest DPC routine execution time" and, "Total hard pagefault count"

If highest DPC routine execution time is above 400 microseconds, then head into drivers and sort them by total execution time.

If total hard pagefault count is above 100 and climbing, hop into the processes tab and sort by page fault count.

If there is a conflict, this should help point you in the right direction.

no, but you might have gotten that from another source.

Check Latency Monitor, it's a useful software

You seem to have a problem with your network adapter (check for drivers update)

Also check for new drivers for your GPU (just in case)

Also I would disable that pagefile (I always do on a system with an SSD as the OS drive)

Hold the keys WIN+BREAK (that should open the System window)

On the left side, click on "Advanced system settings"

In the new window, click the "Advanced" tab

Under the "Performance" section ,click on "Settings..."

Click the "Advanced" tab

Click "Change"

Uncheck the box "Automatically manage ..."

Now the options can be changed, select "No paging file"

Click "Set" (IMPORTANT)

Finally click "Yes" at the bottom of the window

Close the other windows by clicking "OK" and restart

So ive been having this problem, when i launch my game (cs:go) my whole pc starts lagging. And its unplayable to play at 20 fps. but when i close it and wait around 10 minutes everything fixes itself and my pc is back to normal. but when i lauch the game again it will start lagging. But it seems like any kind of stress on my pc it just throws all the processes or smth. When i look at youtube it starts lagging after couple of minutes. Tried factory resetting my pc worked for a day and then stopped working again
pc spes:
i5 4690k

Is you gpu loaded? I think it goes to optimal power when you play simple games (not graphically intense game).  Put it to maximum performance
