How long does it take to get used to trackball mouse?

Undertoe

I got myself Logitech Marble TrackBall.

I used it for productivity and playing games of course.

For productivity nothing special, just a regular mouse, just had to get used to different interface.

For gaming. Good precision, there's one huge problem, I need to turn my marble 6 times in order to do 420 No Scope.

If I increase sensitivity the precision dies out and before they meet. There's no good balance, it's either Bad1 and Bad2, or Bad2 and Bad1.

I was thinking about bringing it back to my store. And returning to regular mouse. Which wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either.

I'm here on 50/50 with my decisions. Any suggestions?

I've had it for 5 days, and I feel like I'm 70% done with learning curve, but I don't think that that 100% will satisfy me. But I'm not sure.

Should I stick with it for longer (if so, for how long?) or should I sell it immediately and get back on safe grounds?

I bought my dad a trackball and tried it for csgo. It's impossible. I have the Logitech G502 and it is excellent for gaming. The DPI shift button is undoubtedly the best thing about it.

I have a Microsoft Trackball Explorer that still works from my dad who got it from a coworker thinking the thing is broken, I still have it today and works 100%. I cant get used to playing games with it like FPS shooters or anything but it would probably take a couple days to learn how to use it, then months/years to master like anything else.
