You have a Freesync monitor and an Nvidia gpu so not ideal.

Or you just cap the FPS at 144. Solves all issues.

I might be wrong but I think doing that can cause input lag. The gpu won't be able to push out 144fps in most games even with a GTX 1080.

For the same sort of money you could get a 1440p G-Sync screen and a GTX 1070.

Lol with the 1070 whats the point of a 144hz monitor. Or I can use V-sync.

Why do you need 4 fans?

2 for the radiator, and 2 for the intakes.

If you enjoy gaming with input lag and stuttering then go ahead.

So should I get a stronger AMD GPU? Maybe crossfire Fury X?

If you plan on sticking with the Freesync monitor then yeah an AMD gpu would be better as you can use the freesync (Adaptive sync) function. No idea what fps you will get with a Fury X at 1440p though, so you would have to look at reviews for the gpu.
